Web Talk Series
Web Talk Series: A four-day long Web Talk Series on Library Services Combating Covid-19 Pandemic has been conducted by Women Librarians’ Association of Assam (WLAA) on the Google Meet platform. The series started on 15th June and ended on 18th June, 2020 with the participation of over 150 LIS professionals including experienced and young women library professionals from Assam and other states. The event witnessed insightful deliberation and intellectual transaction on Online Library Services in National Law University and Judicial Academy Assam, Use of Google Form in Library Services, Google Classroom, Digital Archiving of Rare Documents, E-learning through Moodle, National Digital Library of India (NDLI) & Digital Library creation using DSpace software, Library Assistance to Students with Visual Impairment at Cotton University, Impact of Covid-19 on Rural Colleges and Role of the Librarians to Overcome the Challenges.
