Minutes of General Body Meetings

Resolutions of the 1st general meet of WLAA, held on May 28, 2022

i. WLAA is the strength of women library professionals of Assam and geographical barrier shouldn't pull back the growth of the Association. Therefore, the house resolved that the next meeting of WLAA needs to be held in the other parts of Assam too.

ii. The association will extend financial help to the members whenever they need. Eg health treatment, education etc once the association becomes financially strong.

iii. Interested WLAA members may conduct programs for the benefit of the society like physical and mental well being, stress management, soft skills etc.

iv. WLAA can offer a consultancy service to its members and society as well.

v. WLAA will start a move for inculcating reading habit for the schools and other deprived parts of the society.
